  1. @@Blueslily still dealing with the stress of my daughter but I'm still maintaining eating healthy so if and when it's time I'll be ready to get my surgery ??
  2. @Blueslily how are you feeling,, surgery was a success im sure.
  3. @linnea29 I WAS scheduled for the 27th but I had to reschedule bcuz I had a lot of stress at home and was unable to focus on me. Luckily my insurance wasn't going to pay so that kind of helped with my anxiety and fears. Then just recently I tested positive for covid....so all in all maybe it's not the right time to do the surgery. Hopefully one day but I will stay on track with eating right and lose the weight on my own. Good luck to you, you got this!!
  4. @ShoppGirl thank you!! and most definitely I am still mentally preparing myself for surgery as if it was happening. I will continue to eat healthy and find an outlet for me to have some peace. Will keep everyone posted.
  5. @ashd13 thank you so much, I needed to hear that❤
  6. @ashd13 no everything is not. I believe my daughter has bipolar and her mood is very distracting and I'm concerned for her well being. We argue everyday....its too stressful for me and i don't think it would be good getting the surgery at this time?.
  7. Unfortunately I will not be getting my surgery for many reasons. I wish everyone well on their journey.
  8. @mindy81 my surgery is April 27th and I have to start my liquid diet 2weeks prior. So I've been trying to have more liquids with just one light meal. So by that time I should be okay and not as hungry...I hope lol
  9. @Blueslily I truly can relate to how you feel and I still have many weeks to go. I pray you find some comfort. We are here, let us know how the visit went. ?
  10. @LRJ you will be just fine....we will be fine. My daughter has been stressing me out and every now and then I think about not wanting to do the surgery. But I have to think of myself and my health first.
  11. Honestly @LRJ I am mentally preparing myself along with staying consistent with eating the right foods. At some point I will ween off of eating and start just drinking liquids so when it's time I'll be accustomed to it. It's definitely not easy but I need this so I know I can do it. What about you? When is your day? And where are you located?
  12. @Blueslily You got this!!! We're all one big happy family ?
  13. @NurseShannonRN_RNY Are you in NY?
  14. @Delta Lisa same here, I'm working from home and the disability my job is offering is 6wks. I'm already home I can work after 2wk of post op lol
  15. @Kimberly1983@@ I'm praying on that lol not trying to do too many surgeries on the body lol
  16. @Kimberly1983@@ yes I'm scheduled for April 27. I was told to start my liquid diet 2 wks before the surgery. I need to get a hip replacement and the weight is making it worst so doing the sleeve will take lots of the weight off and the hip replacement won't be as needed right away.
  17. @LisLuva86 should I start the liquid diet now even tho my surgery isn't for another month?
  18. @LisLuva86 when will you start you preop diet? My surgery is the 27 day after you.
