  1. I had a total done in 2004. I'm now looking to be banded. I'm not on Synthroid any longer because my TSH levels were bouncing all over the place. Try to find a Doctor who will switch you to Armour Thyroid. That should help level everything out for you. You have to remember that everybody loses weight at a different pace. Where it seems that some people drop the lbs in nothing flat, and others are dropping lbs a little at a time, every lb lost is a milestone, and should be treated as such. As for having no Thyroid, that does put a different spin on things, and does add some challenges along the way to becoming healthy again. Just remember that you're doing your best, and that your Doctor's happy with a with your success so far. You will reach your goals, it all takes time.
