  1. Thats good! I am glad you do not have to wait a long time to have the surgery again. But, it sucks to have to go through surgery and not get it complete, glad you are not in alot of pain. Good luck to you!!
  2. Hi twisty, thank you for the response. So was the all liquid diet hard for you? Good luck to you on your journey too, take care!
  3. Thank you very much for the welcome:)
  4. Thanks, you just had surgery 2 days ago? Wow! Are you in alot of pain? Good luck to you also.
  5. Thanks, wow you just had your surgery how was it for you? Good luck to you as well.
  6. Kaiser, how about yours? Good luck!
  7. Thanks and good luck to you too! 6 months seem like eternity lol
  8. do you have to go to weekly classes too? I have to meet once a week with a group of other people in the same process.
  9. wow that was really quick! Sorry you did not get to get the surgery, so what happens now?
  10. Thank you all for your responses. Yes, I have Kaiser, I know before they did not require this, but its a new thing now. I will not get to see the surgeon I believe until month 2 0r 3 of the program and I am required to loose 10% of my body weight. I can do the options program, partial options or a low cal diet. It seems like the procee is getting more strict than before and I am surprised since its just the lap band and not the bypass.
  11. Can you add anything to the optifast?
  12. I did not know that I would have to do a six month mandatory program prior to the lap band until I went to the siminar. Is this something that is now required for everyone?
  13. Hello everyone! I am sorta new here at the site, I joined about a month ago and I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I will be starting the required 6 months classes on the 25th and I am so excited.
  14. That's great, it looks like we are starting together! So how is it so far? Are you doing the options also?
