  1. Thanks for just being here guys. E.L Let us know as you go!! Doddie, i to have a family to cook for. It will be a challenge, but i'm sooo willing! Snowbird 3 meals out of one, isn't it incredable the amount of food we ( north americans) eat that we don't need to sustain us. This band will be the will power i never had. when my brain says Macdonalds 3 times a day my stomach won't let me. I can handle that. Have A great Canada Day -- and go watch some fire works!

Yaaa!
  3. 4. i am very confidant in going to Tijunia mexico for my surgury. I have had wonderful help from medical tourism. they provided me with a fasillitator the very same day. She answeres my emails almost immediently and has phoned me 3 times. I also have her 1-800 number, and her cell number. The company sent me a ipodcast ( i think thats what it's called) discribing what there services are, this was very informative. as well i have seen a video made of the hospital angeles in Tijunia, It's huge with every kind of medecine practiced there. I am satisfird with this dissission except for one question! If I need to be dealt with emergency wise, Say, Slippage, or something needing surgury again. Will there be a Canadian Doctor willing to remove the band or fix it? I guess my question is directed to anyone who has gone out of canada to get banded, What were you told about this? thanks for any info. Tammy:confused:
  5. :thumbup:Hi Everyone, I have spent the last few days researching and going to doctors. I found out that Medicard will cover me in mexico. As well i found a doctor that will do my fills in Red deer. So all looks good. Thy will even lend me money for plane tickets! It will cost 7000.00 in mexico verses 16000.00 in toronto and the airfare is cheaper for us to fly to San Diego than toronto.
