I have had a set back. the surgery went well and all but i have an allergic reaction to the steri strips and all the bandages so my belly looks like i have severe poison sumac. gross and itchy. when the doctor tells me that i can eat eggs i will be so thankful. since monday i have lost 17 lbs.!!! granted, its all water weight but i am still proud of myself.
  2. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and to say that I am new to this group so I could use all the help that y'all can give me. The only thing that seems to agree with me right now is the JELLO. Does that get better? I had my surgery done at Saint Raphael's in New Haven by Dr. Nadzam. It went very well. A little sore but I cant complain much. I hope to here from you soon t=]
  3. congrats on the weight loss so far =] i had my surgery on monday and i have lost 17lbs. but i think its cause i am only eating jello!! i am still a little sore but i have to go back to work on monday. i hope all will be well
  4. Hey everyone.:ohmy: I am so glad that I found this site. I hope to meet lots of new people and I am ready to start my life over. My surgery date is scheduled for Monday June 23rd!!!!!!!! Can I tell you how excited I am. The next chapter in my life is just beginning.
