  9. I had my surgery on December 22,2020 and I thought I would have lost more than I have. I know when you have less to lose you lose slower, but it still frustrating that I've only lost 11pounds in 6weeks. My doctor wants to see another 10 to 15 pounds come off before the end of the month. Which I think I can manage, but when I try to talk to family or friends even those who have had surgery all I get in response is "try harder. You aren't doing enough" or "you'll get there be patient." It feels like the support I'm receiving is half hearted and I just wish they could back me up a little more. It's been hard finding friends that understand and I just want someone who gets it. Also why is it so hard to get my water in aiming for 64ounces right now but only getting half of that any tips or tricks to get in more?

  11. I have already talked to my doctor and have taken his advice but i'm still having trouble and i'm looking for help from those who have had surgery. My surgery was on December 22, 2020. I'm in a puree stage, but i'm having several issues. I'm having trouble with a few things. Anytime i have anything thicker than soup i feel sick or like i'm choking and this can last for hours afterwards. i have tried thinning my purees out and slowing my eating down even more but still get that feeling and need help on how to stop that feeling. I'm also struggling to get my water and protein goals met for the day and need some tips on how to increase them. Any help would be great.
