Hello everyone, Quick update! Had my Bypass on 2/8 and unfortunately I am headed back to the OR on 3/2. I have been sick since the surgery and it appears my gallbladder is the issue. It has to come out! My doc says is not unusual for this to happen but it does not happen often. Lucky me I guess. Lol! Well I am hoping that after this I can continue with my recovery and not have any issues other than the usual. Good luck everyone!

I am having surgery on monday 2/8. I am so nervous. I had my second dose of covid vaccine and got so sick. I could not tolerate any protein because I was so sick. I ended up drinking ginger ale and had crackers along with other non-keto items. I am so frustrated because I am 3 days before my surgery and I was supposed to loose 5 pounds. I don't think that is going to happen. super frustrated!

Hi, I am almost 5ft3 so I understand. Your supposed to weight that much because you are petite. Good for you! My lowest weight was back in High school and I weighed 125lbs and I felt good. I was very healthy then. I wanted to get the sleeve but I can't because I have GERD. I worry that I will loose too much and loose my curves..lol

My surgeon has me on a keto diet, I have to replace one meal with a protein shake until the weekend before surgery. I will be on a full liquid diet the day before surgery.

Hello there! Congratulations! Has anyone found that you have loss too much weight with the gastric bypass?
