I was banded 06-18-08 by Dr. Hawasli My self pay was 15 LARGE (with 1 year after care with fills) Dr. Hawasli is the best in Detroit and has been for years Dr. Meguid is a STUD (Good Looking,Rich,smart VERY SMART and like one of those savants with HUGE TALENT) Lifes Good for Dr. Meguid St Johns Hospital was very comforting and did a great job Besides their nurses are HOT AS HELL, Like 95% of them :thumbup::lol:

This thead has made my week Shit its made my life My 84year old Monster in law (100% Italian) makes the GREATEST MEATBALLS EVER I'm so happy that I almost cried when I read this thread topic(well not really,but if you have ever had one of my mother-in-law meatballs you'd understand :sad::biggrin::biggrin:) I was banded on the 18th of June and I'm about 2-3 weeks away from enjoying my favorite meal that she makes (besides her sauce is SO GOOD I could drown in it ) That 4'8" Italian wonder has been cooking meatballs for my father-in-law for 62+ years and they both are still kicking GREAT PEOPLE (ITS THE MEATBALLS PEOPLE) WOOHOO NELLIE'S MEATBALLS :thumbs_up::redface::thumbs_up:

Hello all my name is Doug Steele, I'm from the loveiy town of Roseville Just north of the greatest city in the world (IMO) DETROIT!!!! I was banded Wednesday June 18th by Dr. Hawasli (St. Johns Hospital & Medical Center) Started at 340lbs 6-2-08 (BMI 50.1) Started pre-surgery liquid diet 6-4-08 Surgery at 324lbs. I Feel great!!!!! and I won't know what I weight now because I only weight myself on Wednesdays (also my wife snaps 2 pictures (front;side) SORRY TMI) Good luck to all See you all on the other side Doug

I was banded on the 18th of Juse I feel great Not much pain to deal with (I had a Pinched Sciatic nerve for about a year WORST PAIN EVER) Anyway, I feel great. Clear liquids for another week and a half then I can get my frist fill and go from there
