  1. after loosing pound after pound and reaching your goal weight what will consume your life. I feel like now I am so focused on working out and going to the gym and eating right... That once I get there (which is awhile away) but that I will some how loose my focus and gain weight again. Does anyone think about the future and what it holds with your weight? What about the ones that have reached there goal weight? Do you feel lost now? What do i have to look forward to? Banded 1/13/06
  2. My stomach growls alot tooo... I like to think of it as my stomach eating the FAT!!! :-) makes me feel better. I think it is all good. It usually happens more after a fill or right when I had the surgery. BUt don't worry... its normal!
  3. Does anybody have any good tips on loosing your stomach? :-) I excersie everyday and i carry most of my weight in my stomach. Does anyone have a good ideas or excersise tips to where the stomach shrinks quicker. Or do i just need to be patient. :-) Any input will be great.
  4. this was just what i was looking for. I am not going down on the scale at all but I am getting alot of muscle, I think. Kinda frustrating but this was helpful. I bookmarked the website too. Thanks for that great posting! :-)
  5. I would love this also.. I think it would be so helpful. I want my clothes to go to someone who will appreciate them... :-) Good looking out ladies!
  6. Has anyone had an experience with the flu after being banded? I have come down the flu and find it extremely hard to throw up. Which is a good thing to some. BUt when you stomach hurts this bad sometimes vomiting helps. I feel like i violently try to throw up and might slip my band. Has this ever happened? I am two months post op. Everything should be healed by now right?
  7. I am in NOVA can I go???? Where in MD is it at and when? :-) Dr. Moazzez was my doctor also I saw that another person had him too... :-) I would love to meet with everyone and have some suppourt.
  8. Thank you for the responses. I hope more and more people respond too. I am really hoping once the weight starts coming off that the hair growth will too. I have to shave every day and it is the most embarassing thing in the world being a female and having so much hair growth. :-( Let alone the 150 extra pounds I carry. :-) OH MY OH MY....
  9. Anyone have experience with PCOS. I have been diagnosed with it for years now. Finally had the surgery was just hoping that some symptoms from PCOS would start going away. :-) Anyone have any thoughts on it. Thanks !
  10. WHATS A WAIST LINE???? hehehehe Congrats!
  11. http://www.unjury.com/ This is strictly for surgery patients. It tastes GREAT also. Well atleast the chocolate one and the unflavored one is not so bad in Crystal Light. I am very picky when it comes to drinking. Usually the slightest thing will make me gag even before surgery my whole life actually. I can't do any kind of SHOTs.... but this protien drink is pricey but very good!
  12. I did the same thing.... I quit smoking so I blamed it on that. But being over weight you flucuate so much. I think you should definetly sweat it out drink alot of protein and just WORK it OUT. I don't think they weight you on the day of surgery. I was told they want you to loose weight before your surgery because, the first place you start to loose weight is your liver. Which is behind your stomach. So if your liver is SHRUNK the surgery goes better. BUT again maybe your doctor is just trying to make things easier on himself. Don't worry about it. You don't need that stress in your life right now. KEEP YOUR CHIN UP... you will only have to worry about loosing weight after this one... not putting on. :-)
  13. YOU ALL ROCK!! Thank you I do feel so much better. I will keep going of course and I feel a hell of alot better. I just can't wait to fit into some "cute" clothes. I do have alot of weight to loose, these responses were GREAT!
  14. Am I going crazy.... I have lost over 30lbs so far but my clothes all fit the same. I go to the gym 5 or more times a week and I know my muscles are growing. But I am not loosing any of my stomach which is where most of my weight is. Does anyone have an explination for me? Or had the similar problem?:help:
  15. that feeling is normal.... From reading what other people have written on here it sounds like you are swalloen. I don't think you will need a fill for awhile. You seem to have enough restriction with out a fill at all. I would just take it easy with foods for a while. Just purred or liquids. What I have noticed that I can eat ok is spaghetti sauce with meat. WIth out the noodles of course. You might want to just try something that is already ground up for you and take very very very small bites. Focus on the bite size and amount of time you chew. Sounds like you are doing well loosing weight. :-) Good luck!
