  4. I had RNY gastric bypass in 2004. I have gained weight back unfortunately and a revision would be to revise the surgery I had in 2004 to help me lose weight again. They go in their resize your pouch...etc. They say revisions are not as drastic with weight loss as the original surgery but I don’t know that for sure. Some people need revisions for medical reasons. I am hoping with mine to have a 2nd and final chance to get it right.
  5. Tina did you have basic or standard on the BCBS and is your insurance federal plan? If you don’t mind me asking how much did everything cost out-of-pocket

  11. Good luck to all fixing to have surgery!!! That’s awesome! And the ones who have had the revision already I would love to hear how things are going! You don’t hear much from people on revisions and how they are doing!
  12. I’m from Oklahoma. I’ve hired an advocate agency to help me fight it. But thanks for offering to help. So your dr said a 70 pound weight loss is possible!!! That is so awesome.
  13. I’m excited for all you guys! And thanks for the responses! I’m still fighting with insurance on mine. But it’s great to see some updates on revisions. There’s not a lot of info on revision stories and how they go. Would love to keep up with your progress and success!!!

  15. I have FEP BCBS Standard. I thought I had the basic option but I do for sure have the standard. I was looking to see how much it cost someone just for the hospital stay and surgery with this insurance? It’s kind of confusing to me.
  16. I’m sorry I meant I have FEP standard but I appreciate all the comments. I thought it was Basic but mine is standard
  17. Do you how much out of pocket it will cost you? Just the surgery and hospital stay. Not all the other appt.
