  1. Hi Rose-your weight loss is awesome-I had surgery on July 15 and have lost 30 pounds....I am ecstatic and DEFINITELY not complaining but losing a little slower than you-was just wondering if your exercising. Exercise has always been my weakness and I know I could lose alot faster and was just wondering if this helps in losing approximately a pound per day. Thx!
  2. I agree the sleeve is AWESOME!!!! I had surgery July 15 and have lost 30 lbs. I am very careful to comply with the high protien diet and get full on 1/2 cup or less cup of food. Congrats and enjoy your soon to be successful weight loss!
  3. I didn't realize just how severe my 'head hunger' was until I had the sleeve surgery - the first two weeks after surgery proved to be difficult for my head would say HUNGRY but my stomach would allow so little (and of course I was on liquids only). Nevertheless, i was forced to comply since there was no turning back - FOR ME, I needed the irreversibility thought process....I had surgery July 15 and have lost 30 pounds....my head hunger is gone, I'm incredibly pleased with the results and so grateful I chose the sleeve.
  4. I'm posting today, not to promote one surgery over the other but to promote the lap band talk site-for it was extremely helpful in helping me make an informed decision. After reading various experiences of banders (good and bad) I came to the conclusion that the sleeve would fit my needs, health and personality better-i've had the sleeve operation and it's perfect for me- thanks to Lap Band Talk and the ability to educate oneself.
  5. Same here-I feel horrible as if I have the flu-body aches, fatigue, dizzy, weak! Scared me at first until I figured out I wasn't drinking enough fluids and now no problems. I was told some people require more fluids than others....I definitely need way over 64 oz; for me, fluids are needed to feel ok more than food.
