  1. Hi Ollie, good luck with the surgery! I am still in the beginning stages here so my surgery probably won't be until August. Like you, I am extremely fortunate to have found this site. It has helped me so much. I feel like I am part of a family here.
  2. Sunshine2, don't look at the bad weeks or months but look at the big picture - you've lost over 50lbs since your heaviest - that is amazing!!!!! And you have not given up that is the best part ----just go out there and do it!
  3. Your fiance is just scared. Try and take it easy on him. I just told my husband that I am going to do this a few days ago and he refused to be a part of it. He is very upset that I am thinking about selective surgery but I can tell that he is coming around. I am sure he is going to be cold and quite closer to the surgery but only because he loves me and is scared that something might go wrong. I love him so much!
