  1. I didn't even know my band had slipped!! I just found out when I woke up from the gall bladder/hernia repair. I wish they didn't fix it because I found out yesterday I have gained 24 pounds!!!!!! MMMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I guess being able to eat after all these years has inspired my appetite. ( Good news is I get my fill on Monday May 5th. Wish me luck!
  2. I just had revision surgery a month ago too - fixed a hernia too - and removed the gall bladder. That was BRUTAL!! But, I am not doing any lifting yet -I was told to wait a little longer. Maybe because I just had a tummy tuck too with muscle restriction. I do however feel fantastic so far with no more reflux. I get filled on Thursday and will report back if there is a change. Some bad news though - gained some weight - maybe as much as 10 pounds!!! (afraid to look) Let me know what you find out :glare:
  3. I have recently had a fill but then - within 4 days - got the flu. :sick It was BRUTAL and I couldn't even hold down much water or maybe some flat sprite. Now my fever has broken and I am starting to feel better, but the fill seems to tight? Has anyone ever had this issue? Is it just swelling or should I just spend the money and get some unfilled? Please let me know if you have been here too.....I am still so worn out that I am having a hard time getting better. :faint:
  4. How can you tell for sure that you have an overfill? I am feeling really rauchy but I want to wait at least awhile for the swelling to go down.... I felt find in the office - but now - 5 hours later - it is a totally different story. Pain, reflux, can't even really drink water - only a few sips of warm tea. I have never had this trouble with a fill. Is there a chance that my congestion (light cold) is related to my misery?
  5. OUCH! I just got filled for the first time in a year. It hurt bad! The Dr. said that because of the weight loss my port had moved so he had to sort of twist it. I have been in major pain every since this afternoon. I am actually wondering if I have overfilled....... My stomach was not used to the manipulation - that is for sure - after a year!
  6. Has anyone used this fillcenter? I just moved here from Texas and I have no idea where to go for a fill - prices are different
