  1. I find that I can tolerate 4-6 oz of soup or liquids in one sitting without a lot of trouble. But once I start pushing 6, I have instant regret. My surgery was 11/3.
  2. Awesome! What kind of multi did you take?
  3. How many bites could you get in?! I’m so excited for eggs.. in two weeks lol. My program doesn’t allow them until week 4
  4. I took 2 dulcolax and it got things moving
  5. It’s very likely reglan. Anxiety and panic attacks ARE a possible side effect of IV reglan. There is no IV Ritalin—that is a drug for ADHD.
  6. I just did yesterday after taking dulcolax. I’d went like 6 days. Sleeved 11/3. It’s been pure liquid since. TMI but just needed the dulcolax to move the last remaining solids from my system from pre op. I lost 2 lbs just from the BM for a total of 11 lbs the first week.
  7. I agree—that large incision where the pulled the stomach out is the most sore! I learned my stomach does not like crystal light or any other artificial sweetener. Water and protein it is ?
  8. Same here I had surgery Tuesday and yesterday was truly awful. So much pain and nausea. They offered to keep me another night but I figured I could at least go home and be miserable in my own bed. I can say now that it’s Thursday I’m not feeling near as bad as I did yesterday.
  9. Generally you see if you have a hiatal hernia and check for gastritis. If you have either, a sleeve could make things worse and they’d generally opt for a bypass.
  10. November 3rd! Just started my pre op diet today. 14 days away!
