  1. Hi All Just wanted to check in on the November Surgery People! Well really all of us that have had the surgery! I hope you are all doing well ! I have recently been have issues with eating to fast and the results are similar to dumping! Has anyone else experienced this ? I also do not feel hungry ever and I eat based on the recommendations from my Barbaric Clinic. I also do not get the full feeling ! Any others experience this , any tips or advice ?

  3. I did not tell people because I agree it is none of their business and there is a part of me that is ashamed that I was not able to do it in my own. I lost over 100 pounds in 2005/2006 with proper diet and excercise however i gained it back and have up and down with weight my entire life
  4. Hi All I am five days post op and feeling good ! Taking in all the required calories is a struggle. Not tired and not much pain although I know when i eat to fast! Finally had a bowl movement ! I guess it is the small things in life :) . I hope all the other November Surgery folks are doing well
  5. Yes I got to go home and I slept much better last night. I still have not had a bowl movement and my doctor said to take milk of magnesia so far nothing .
  6. It is now 3:00am and i can’t sleep not in pain just sleep a lot during the day. had one spoon of jello and 2 sips of broth. If all goes well with breakfast I can home tomorrow here is to hoping all goes well.

  9. I drink alot of water and try to keep myself busy as to not think about food. Here in Canada we are on an optifast diet so it is 4 shakes a day plus some vegetables. The first few days were hard as anything. But I keep telling myself it is a means to an end. The is a change I wanted and no one is forcing me into. I ate my way into this position, so now I have to deal with things that come with getting out of this position. Keep your chin up !

  12. Thanks for the response, what protein shakes did you have after surgery ? Where did you get your protein stuff Online or at a store ? Can I ask who your surgeon was ? How was the follow up experience? Again thanks in advance for all of you responses. Avi

  14. Good Morning All I am scheduled for Bypass on Nov.10, 2020 at Humber River Hospital in Toronto. Is there anyone else who is scheduled in Toronto for Nov ? I am looking for a surgery buddy to go through this with. For anyone from Toronto who had surgery at HRH. Can you let me know how it went ? I am excited and nervous all at same time
