I agree with you regarding the holidays and I'm in the same boat you are, I have kept it very quiet. I will be 2 weeks 1 day post surgery on Thanksgiving.

Yes, I have Kaiser and they require/suggest you loose 10%. I have actually lost 22%. My doctors are a little lenient on the 10%, they just absolutely do not want to see any weight gain.

I am not to nervous about the surgery, I am more nervous for Thanksgiving. I will be 2 weeks & 1 day post surgery. This will definitely be a true test to figuring out new lifestyle!

Mine starts on the 28th and it is pure liquid. I plan on living on the premier protein shake, sugar free jello, & chicken broth!! Sounds yummy right! 🤪 I am actually looking forward to this journey! I will be on a 14 day liquid diet. My surgery date is Nov 11. I think I have waited for this day my whole adult life and am so excited.

You're one week before I am. I am very excited, not too nervous. I think I more nervous about the 14 day liquid diet that I am the surgery. 🤪 Were you able to make your 10% weight loss goal?
