I agree with you regarding the holidays and I'm in the same boat you are, I have kept it very quiet. I will be 2 weeks 1 day post surgery on Thanksgiving.

Yes, I have Kaiser and they require/suggest you loose 10%. I have actually lost 22%. My doctors are a little lenient on the 10%, they just absolutely do not want to see any weight gain.

Very excited for you. Please keep us updated after your surgery and the days following if possible. My surgery is 6 days after yours.

I am not to nervous about the surgery, I am more nervous for Thanksgiving. I will be 2 weeks & 1 day post surgery. This will definitely be a true test to figuring out new lifestyle!

Mine starts on the 28th and it is pure liquid. I plan on living on the premier protein shake, sugar free jello, & chicken broth!! Sounds yummy right! ? I am actually looking forward to this journey! I will be on a 14 day liquid diet. My surgery date is Nov 11. I think I have waited for this day my whole adult life and am so excited.

You're one week before I am. I am very excited, not too nervous. I think I more nervous about the 14 day liquid diet that I am the surgery. ? Were you able to make your 10% weight loss goal?
