Hello! I had gastric sleeve surgery in 2017 but gained most of my weight back due to severe anxiety and depression after my grandmother passed way. I wasn’t on medication at the time. In 2019, I had a revision to bypass, however my weight loss was very slow, but I was happy with the weight I was at. Fast forward to 2023, my health took a turn for the worst. I had cervical spine surgery due to a severely compressed spinal cord. I began having trouble walking, standing for long periods of time, even sitting. I persevered. In the summer of 2024, I began having a plethora of health issues related to my back. I was forced to stop working in November, in which the immobility caused my weight to creep back up due to not so great eating habits (laying in bed eating). I had a partial meniscus repair and spinal cord stimulator placement, and I’m still having issues with my back and my knee. Because of all of the medicines that I’m on, and the immobility, I’ve tried to focus on weight loss and adapting a reset type of diet, but it’s been so challenging to do. Exercise is limited at the moment. My primer won’t discuss weight loss injectables, medications to help control and limit eating until what’s going on with my back and my knee are addressed properly. She believes that my bariatric surgeon could help me more. I do have an appt in September. Had anyone ever gone through another weight loss surgery 3 times before? I need help in the utmost way!!! Please help!!!
