I was anxious, excited and nervous. I was waiting on the trolley and wanted so badly to back out yet so badly wanted the operation. I am so glad I did it though. The first few weeks are tough but I have continually got better every day since.

Nerves are normal!! But I think you will find that most of the posters agree that this was the best decision of their life!
I will tell you that I thought I would not be able to eat normally or enjoy food again...but even two months out, I have gone out to dinner and been able to enjoy food while still losing weight.
The first weeks are tough, but after you get over the hump, the changes are amazing!

It's 2am I can't sleep, Feeling so restless.. just nervous and excited and anxious to get my surgery over with. It's just started to sink in and in the process it's driving me a little crazy [emoji51] please someone talk to me!! lol

I literally burst into tears as they were ready to take me into the operating room and almost did't go through with the surgery. And I won't lie--the first few weeks were really tough and I did have some moments of regret. 18 months later, I look back on this as the best decision I've ever made!
