  1. I’m now 9 months post op and down 90lbs. I was told that my GERD would subside about a month after surgery. It has not. They just did an X-ray and found a hiatal hernia and severe esophagus reflux. I’ve not spoken with my doctor yet (just read the results) but is there a fix for this? I did not have the hernia prior to surgery (was checked 4 times).
  2. Hello! It’s been about 11 weeks since I had my gastric bypass. I’ve the last 4 weeks I consistently feel sick after eating. No matter what I eat I don’t feel well after. I get tired, nauseous, and have very bad phlegm in the back of my throat. Has anyone had this happen?

  4. I just am put off by there being a stall when I’m literally 4 weeks out from surgery. It’s like I’ve gone through all this hell and there is no pay off. I know that isn’t necessarily the right mind set but I need a win.
  5. Hello, I’m looking for some encouraging words- I’m 4 weeks out from my gastric bypass. The two weeks prior to surgery I lost 20lbs, the week after surgery I lost another ten. But I’ve not lost any weight in 3 weeks. This experience has been really challenging as I had very bad reactions to the pain medication that put me back in the hospital. Then just recovery, it’s been rough. It’s a mind f@@@ when I’m not even loosing weight. I’m doing what’s been told to me to do and yet nothing. It feels like it was all for nothing.
