Phyl 32 lbs is fantastic ! I've managed to lose only 14 lbs since starting the pre-op diet but we'll see how things progress. After 2 weeks, i was moving to pureed food and was pleased to get it as I was beginning to feel hungry again ! I'm sure you're doing fine - i think that if you feel bad after eating the pureed food that's just a sign that you're not ready. Take it slowly and avoid drinking for 30 mins either side of eating. Hi All I wanted to join up. I got banded on 19 May in Dublin and had my first fill on 16 June (5.5mls). I've found the month between surgery and fill very hard and frustrating with the weight loss really really slow. Anyone else have this problem in the beginning? Thanks LM

Hi All I got banded on 19 May and had my first fill on 15 June. I must admit to be a bit frustrated at how slowly things seem to be progressing for me. the fill wasn't as painful or frightening as I had feared but would be really interested to hear from others as to how long it took to get the fill "right" and at what stage you really started to see the weight come down.
