From a guys point of view I think your husband definitely is feeling insecure about your decision. I don’t see it as a control mechanism. He’s simply expressing his fears to you, that’s being honest. If there’s any strong feelings you need to reassure him you’re in this together and you’re looking forward to a long, healthy, happy life with him. Best of luck.

I think I mentioned to you at some point that I only lost 16 lbs the first month, and we started out about the same (I was a at a higher weight than you, but I'm also taller, so it's kind of a wash). I did end up losing all of my excess weight, so don't think a 15 lb drop is any indication that you're not going to be successful, because that's clearly not the case. Your level of commitment is what will determine your ultimate success, not your rate of weight loss.

It seems to me like she might just have a personal preference due to what ingredients she might think are unsavory in the Premier? That's odd. Premier are pretty popular among the bariatric community.

Ah I see. Well, everyone makes mistakes, but eating solid food two weeks out can cause serious complications. Not trying to alarm you or anything, but just keep an eye on it and see how you feel. Hopefully it was just a blip and you’ll be absolutely fine don’t beat yourself up, this is a difficult journey for everyone but just learn from your mistake.
