  1. When I had the sleeve I never dumped either so I could eat whatever I wanted but in moderation which was great. I was able to keep my weight off for 5 years. But then I could eat more and more and the weight started coming back until I gained all of it back. I want to learn from my mistakes. I don't want to dump to learn my lesson.
  2. That is AWESOME!!! Congratulations!
  3. How far long are you? Are you doing better?
  4. What surgery did you have that they said you don't dump. Wow!!! You went through all that. That's terrible!
  5. These stories of dumping sound pretty awful. Thanks for sharing!
  6. I had the sleeve back in 2012. I could eat whatever I wanted and never dumped. That may be why I gained all my weight back. So I just had it revised to the bypass and I was curious about the dumping. I've heard its pretty bad. Hopefully I'm one of the ones that never dumps. Thanks for sharing!
  7. Thanks! Great suggestions.
  8. That's good to know! Thank you! How far along are you?
  9. Anyone dump? What does it feel like? Have people been able to have some sweets without dumping. Just want to see if I can ever have a cookie or something like that again.
  10. That's good to know. Thanks!
  11. I bought some ground turkey. I'm going to try that. Hopefully that goes down well.
  12. I do think I eat too fast and don't chew enough. I'll walk from now on to help it go down. Thanks!
  13. I have been cleared to eat solids. So chicken, beef anything moist and tender. I can also start adding a little fruits and vegetables.
  14. I'm hoping it gets better.
  15. Yes I know what you mean. Its that last bite that gets me.
  16. That's good. I need to try to not panic. How far along are you from your surgery?
  17. I'm eating chicken but it was not tough. I'm taking small bites but maybe I'm not chewing thoroughly enough. I just had some meatballs and they went down. Maybe its the chicken. I've tried several times but could only manage to get it down a couple of times. How long does it take for it to go down for you? How far out are you from your surgery.
  18. I did feel better once I drank something but I'll have to try the warm tea. I panic when it gets stuck. I shouldn't get into the habit of throwing things up. I need to be patient.
  19. I would like to be able to have it once in awhile too when I reach maintenance. Thanks!
  20. I'm a bread, rice and pasta person but you're right that is part of the reason I am where I am now. I hope I get to the point like you where I don't miss it. Thanks!
  21. Anyone eat carbs like bread and are OK with it? I'm wondering if further in my journey if I'll be able to have it again.
  22. OK. Thanks! I'll try that next time.
  23. What do you do when food sits in your chest after you eat? Did you wait for it to go down? Will it go down? It makes me panic and I end up making myself throw up. I'm a month out. Will this continue to happen or will eventually food go down smoothly like its normally suppose to.
