  4. I am 10 days out. It was too painful to drink water day 2 and 3. I drank vitamin water. I had some in the house and it just was less painful. Now I drink water with no problems. Just much smaller sips than I’m use to.
  5. Tell them you doing Noom. Everyone is looking for a diet that is easy and fast. Only my husband knows I had WLS . I did have my hernia repaired so that is what I told everyone my surgery was for. I don’t want WLS to define me. I hope I can handle the questions when they come. I’m only 10 days out but I returned to work on day 6.
  6. Hey Everyone, I am 10 days out. I had a wonderful experience in the hospital. I slept most of the first day. It was hard not being able to have anything to drink, but rinsing my mouth did help. I only used my pain meds at night. I slept in the recliner which helped a great deal. I returned to work on day 6 and just completed a full week of work. I have lost 13 pounds. This has been a wonderful experience. Barely any hunger, some discomfort, but much less than I expected. Congrats to all of my fellow August 20 sleevers. Sleeved August 25th

  8. One night. I was discharged at 6pm the day after my surgery. Pain was manageable so I was walking the day of surgery. Today is day 4 and I drove myself to a hair appointment. Discomfort managed with Tylenol since I got home.
