    So I just found out today my surgery will be a robotic sleeve gastrectomy. I may have missed this in prior meeting, I started this journey at the end of June and it has literally all been tele-health and I’m due in surgery Monday. I am a little apprehensive already being nervous to go under anesthesia. Has anyone had their surgery done robotically?? Help!!

    Submitted for approval last week and was approved today, surgery is Monday August 31!! To be honest the surgeon had it scheduled before paper work was ever submitted. It’s all happening so fast I’m pretty nervous.

    Hi, I had a BMI if 38 my insurance required a comorbidity that was being treated. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol but was only taking medication for the high BP and that was enough for approval (BCBSMA).
