Hey everyone! I had my gastric bypass on 8/4/2020 and I am having a lot of pain on my right side it feels like I pulled a muscle, but I only hurt when standing up, sitting down, or bending. Does anyone know how long this will last? It started three days post op and makes it difficult to take care of personal care. It feels like a burning pain with movement, but I’m able to walk with no pain.

Fortunately I didn’t have any pain as far as drinking and eating. My pain came from pulling the muscle they put the stitch in.

I have been slacking on the protein. I am having a difficult time getting fluids down. I haven’t had a hunger queue since surgery, and hours will pass before I realize that I may need to at least drink something. Hopefully this pain leaves quickly. I have noticed that hot water from the shower allows me to move a bit more. Thank you for responding and I hope you are feeling better.
