As for how I am doing, I feel fine overall! My stomach is a bit uncomfortable where the incisions had been made, and I do get a little gassy, but nothing a good ol' fart or potty break can't solve..

My surgery was June 29

I had the sleeve done June 29th and so far so good. Still a little sore but overall i feel great and have not had any problems with reflux or nausea. Well except for that one popsicle incident but hey lesson learned xD

Glad i found this place though. Looks like lots of knowledge and tips to be shared.

Sorry to hear that. I am 2-1/2 weeks out, and the happiest I have been in years. I guess it's all about perspective. Just tough it out, as no matter how you feel now, 6 months from now you'll be ready to take on the world !

Every reply that I received on this post has been inspirational! You’ll all be happy to know that I fought through the craving and did not have that little piece of chocolate! After really thinking it through that little piece of chocolate is not worth destroying all the work I have put into my journey to become a healthier, slimmer me.

You do not NEED this - you want it. Big difference. Use this experience to learn a really, really important lesson that you will need for the rest of your life. You are not depriving yourself by denying chocolate - you are helping yourself achieve the greatest goal of your life.
