    :wub:I just went to the seminar for the Catawba Vally Medical Center in Hickory, and am very excited about getting banded. Dr. Cook spoke there, and I was really impressed with him. However, I just had 2 stents put in after a heart cath, in May at Frye reginal Medical. I too prefer Catawba Vally over Frye. My cardiologist says I'm ok for this surgery but need to wait 6 month. But I figure it will take me that long to get everything lined up. I'm on Medicare and have questions about being approved. Does anyone know if Medicare approves lap band? Pre-approval?
