  1. Hey Surgery Twin! How are you feeling? At day 7 I am still feeling pain, but managing it. My incisions are scary to look at, but healing nicely. I am able to (almost) get my 60g of protein in (slow, slow, slow). Jell-o has been my friend. I am pretty moody, with some emotional swings, still sleeping a lot and not exactly on my game. Patience is what I need.

  3. June 24. Got home yesterday (26th) after an extra day in the hospital. I had surgery in the afternoon, but that night my blood pressure spiked (above 200) and my heart went into a supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) event. So I had to stay the extra day to be looked at by the cardiologist. I am glad for the extra time in the hospital. I am home now, tired and not happy with the pain, but controlling it with oxyc and Zofran. Taking in liquid pretty well and walking around the house. More later.
