  1. I am totally new to all of this. What brought me to this site is the pain on my left side too. My port is under my left breast. For two to three weeks after my surgery, there was definately port pain whenever I moved or twisted, but that has totally healed. What I have had since I was banded the beginning of March is pain on my left side near my ribs. It does feel like a stitch and worsens if I take a deep breath. It is constant. I keep telling myself it will go away and get better and heal, but I am worried. It is great to hear that so many of you have this same pain!
