  1. Hi all, I was banded Oct. 21, 2005. Prior to surgery, I lost 20lbs (so I'd be in better shape for the surgery). I went to my post op appointment November 7, 2005 and had lost another 12lbs. But then I just felt so tired of all the work and hung back during the holidays. Of course, I've gained almost all of my weight back. By January, I was so embarrassed I was too afraid to go in for a fill. It's only gotten worse though I've finally scheduled a fill for March 17th (the earliest appointment they had) but I'm afraid to go in. I'm ashamed tha I went through all the pre-op work and the actual SURGERY and then just gained all this weight. Has anything like this EVER happened to anyone?
  2. Hi, I had my lap band surgery Oct 21,2005 at NE Medical in Boston. They took Blue Cross and they were excellent in assisting with any insurance concerns I had. They even sent me a refund check for my one of my co-pays for my mandatory councilling visit because they fought to get Blue Cross to cover it. They rock.
