  1. I had my surgery 8/13/07. Everything has been great. I do notice that when I usually get my "monthly", things tighten and I cough a bit which I'm told is normal, that stress can tighten things. However, for the past 2 weeks the coughing hasn't gone away and gets progressively worse. It's like I can't get enough air. Has anybody experienced this? I don't believe I've too tight. I feel I am finally at the "sweet spot" and am really irritated that this might make me have to get some fill removed and I'm back to square one again. I've called the doctor and waiting on a call back to see what they think.
  2. From my understanding, heartburn means the band is too tight. If you are having it non-stop then it should be checked out. Especially if you start having reflux.
  3. Ok, I had another fill last week. I had originally had one a month ago and was too tight so had .75 removed from the original 1 cc that was put in. I was having minor heartburn. Had a gastric swallow and all is fine. I still felt like I could eat more than I should so went back last week and had .25 put back in. Now, starting to get very slight heartburn again. Also can only eat about 3 to 4 bites and start feeling full. I thought that was a good sign to be at the "sweet spot" but not sure with the heartburn. Anybody else have this issue? I have a 11 cc band and am at almost 9 cc's now. I feel if I take out the .25 then I will be at the same point again, feeling like I am eating more than I should. It's really hard to pinpoint the best place to be. For me anyway.
  4. I am a 43 year old female. I was banded on August 13, 2007. I have lost 53 pounds so far. I have set a goal to be under 200 lbs. by my anniversary date. I hope to make it. Only 14 lbs. to go to succeed.
