    They do leave the IV in overnight. I brought my own nightgown and couldn't use it.

    Hi - Zillyanne, I will get banded on the 22nd too! I am beyond excited! I'm scheduled for 7:30 AM. My first visit with the surgeon was just four days ago. I have BCBS for Federal Employees. No long approval process because I have a 54 BMI and have BCBS for Federal employees. They give immediate approval if you are over 40 BMI. I have a LOT of testing to do between now and July 22nd! sleep study will be done tonight and I have a stress echo scheduled for June 16th. Next step now is to schedule pulmonary, GI, radiology, and nutrition counseling appointments. Busy, busy, but it will all be beyond worth it!
