I have made chicken salad with Greek yogurt, apple and celery. I found Joseph’s reduced carb, high protein pita bread at BJs (I think it’s just over $3/20 pcs) and each pita/wrap is only 60 calories. It’s got flax, oat bran and whole wheat flour and tastes good.
This is so weird cos I started feeling like I have a rock on my chest if I eat more than half a cup of soup or more than 1/4 cup of solid food. I don’t hv any issues with all the foods but the quantity is miniscule and definitely e rock goes from chest to tummy and leads to being stuck ?
I hate sweet drinks so bought unflavored whey protein (Unjury, Isopure, etc) mixed with water and broth. Tastes like a weird soup but better than the sweet stuff. If you can’t tolerate whey, try other forms of protein. Good luck.
Just looking at the stats on the side under yr profile, I had a bit of a shock and wasn’t sure how you did that ??? I’m going corona-crazy! Sorry, I wasn’t trying to be a smartass, just wanted to know if it was real and if so how....
I don’t like sweet things and found it terribly hard to deal with ready made shakes. I like Premier Protein’s vanilla but do add ice and mix it with an immersion blender. I do add an extra cup of almond milk so it cuts the sweet a bit. I found Unjury and Isopure unflavored whey protein mixed with some water then added to broth for a ‘soup’ a life saver. My local butcher saves his chicken bones for me and I make bone broth from them in a crock pot. Love the Cheesies recommendation. Will go look. Thanks.
I had my sleeve on 2/4/20& lost 45 pounds from start weight of 285 BUT I keep sneaking kettle chips ☹️ I try hard to drink lots of water and herbal teas and stay on my approved foods but my husband has a bag of chips I keep swiping a chip from and I so mad at myself?
