  1. I would be mad too..my hubby better not run his mouth. It's really no ones business. I don't plan on telling anyone but my best friend and my husband knows of course and my kids. Some people will never understand what it is like to be obese and trying every diet known to man to only fail numerous times again and again. I say keep it to your self..
  2. Lol...he was low key checking out your "progress".....
  3. Hang in there...sounds like you are doing well. Did you try gas strips and walking? I haven't had the surgery yet but I hear it works wonders LOL...get better and congrats..
  4. Lmao@ Cazzy... She should of got a Lap band...smh
  5. Congrats!! I can't wait to say the same thing next month..
  6. My surgery is in March and the only support I have is this website. I've learned so much just reading posts and research of course. I still don't understand why people don't take this surgery and lifestyle changes serious. If you can't lose weight from this tool...you probably won't ever lose it. Just my opinion....
  7. I have BCBS-Fed and taking all the necessary steps to get approved. Had my psych eval, nutrition eval, sleep study and endoscopy I completed this weekend. My insurance requires 3month supervised diet. Please wish me luck. The first time I tried to get a lapband was in 2008 and I gave up fighting with insurance. This time I will do what ever it takes. With a BMI of 36 and two comorbitities. I have much hope. My three month diet will be over dec. 7th. Congrats on the people who was approved. I feel there is some hope for me.
  8. I agree with most of you. It is a personal decision. I haven't had the surgery yet. I have to complete a 3month md supervised diet, sleep study, and endoscopy. I struggled with my weight for ten years. I have a low BMI of 36 and I'm not sure if I want people to know I had the surgery. Just my husband and kids know I'm having it. I will tell my best friend but thats about it. Most people will never understand why you elected to have WLS because they're either comfortable with their weight. It's you business. If they want to know..just tell them that you eat smaller portions and you work out...which would be the truth.
