  1. I had 3mls put in during surgery - had another 3 mls put in last week 5 weeks post banding - have good restriction at the moment, but am seeing the surgeon again in a couple of weeks.
  2. Hiya, thanks for your reply. I am not having any difficulties at all right now. I think the fact that I already had 3mls in my band from surgery must have made a difference perhaps????? I am losing weight quite quickly at the moment, which is very encouraging Jo
  3. Hi Everyone, I had my band fitted in Leeds, England, 5 weeks ago - I had my first band fill on Wednesday. I found out at that consultation that my surgeon had already put in 3mls so the doctor put in another 3mls, making 6mls in total - I understood that things were taken very gradually with filling, and was quite surprised to have this much Fluid in there after only 5 weeks - it's making a big difference to the way I am able to eat. My niece had a band fitted a couple of weeks before me and had her first fill this weekend - they only put 2.5mls in hers altogether, and when she told them about my 6mls, they said that it was irresponsible to put so much in so early. Now I am a bit worried :confused2:- what's everyone elses experience? Jo
  4. I had 3 mls put in during surgery - didn't know anything about it though until I went for my first fill - the doctor then put in another 3 mls, which means 6mls altogether - I seem to have very good restriction at the moment - had it filled 4 days ago.
