  1. I get rid of everything that doesn't fit and it is amazing for my mindset! I usually buy a couple pairs of leggings and jeans for the size I'm in. Once I can start pulling them off without unbuttoning, I get rid of and size down.

    Crappy Dietician

Yeah my dietician/nutritionists was about on par with the others. She was always really fast and not real interested in things... Most information came from my doctor in his handout

Does anyone feel really tired after eating?

I just take one in the mornings. Your body only absorbs what it needs and the rest is passed through your urine.

June 2020 I think I'm doing this wrong. Help!!

I had surgery the same day you did. I've lost 21. My surgery weight was 209 and I weighed 188 this morning. The last two weeks have been slowing going. I'm 34, 5'0, my heaviest weight was 219. I understand the frustration but I just keep trudging along. I can't stomach any more protein shakes!!! I've been managing to get most of my protein in with food now. If you'd like a buddy on this journey I'm more than willing!

My doctor is actually requesting that I'm admitted for the night. I have been looking into staying the night before surgery. I'm not a morning person either!

    April 2020

All I have left is my final nutrition class which is scheduled Monday (16th) and then all my information will be submitted to insurance. Ahhhhhh... It is getting closer. I'm getting a little nervous now!!! Packing for the hospital... Comfy clothes (I live 3 hours from where I'll be having surgery), phone charger, lotion (hospitals dry me out), body/facial wipes, deodorant/body spray, hairbrush, tooth brush/paste, dry shampoo, and hair tie.

    April 2020

Hello! It is looking like my surgery will be scheduled for April as well! Everything should be submitted to my insurance company for approval by the 23rd of the month!
  21. Hello All! My first post here... I'm currently in the process of getting all my requirements for my insurance. (FEP BCBS). I'm really antsy trying to get it all together. I feel like I should be doing more... It's just a lot of hurry up wait. I'm required to have 3 nutrition classes, Pysch Eval, Nicotine Test/Labs, 1 year weight history, PCP clearance. So far I've I have had 1 nutrition class (second scheduled for the 24th), blood work, and my pysch eval. March 6th I will see my PCP to get clearance, weight history, and Nicotine Test. My final nutrition class will be March 23rd. Then they'll submit everything for insurance approval. After that my doctor requires an EGD but doesn't schedule that until insurance is approved. After the EGD is done I can schedule surgery. I wish there was a way I could speed up the process... that doesn't include me being cash pay (haha). I'm looking at a April or Early May surgery date. Sorry for my rambling...
