Congrats Lisa! I was sleeved 2.26 and down 20 pounds (starting weight 223). I’m still on liquid diet until 3.26 which is so hard but I’m hanging in there!

Every time I eat/drink anything but water!! ?

They told me to sleep in a recliner or elevated in bed with lots of pillows

That makes me feel better. I’m miserable and wondering what I did to myself. Thank you!

Man, I’m so jealous of everyone saying it’s not that bad. I am in excruciating pain! The doctor said it might be also due to the gallbladder removal because he couldn’t numb that area. I can barely move and every time I take a sip of water I’m nauseous and want to throw up. I have hydrocodone and oxycodone because of how much pain I am in. I hope it gets better from here.

Ugh the anxiety is getting real! Day ten of liquid post op diet and so grouchy and freaking out. We are driving over to our Airbnb by the hospital tonight after work (live two hours away) and I am so, so anxious. Surgery check in at 5:00 am and scheduled for 7:00 am tomorrow! ?

Oh my gosh! Can you imagine how disappointed you’d be if she had let you get up and walk out!

This makes me nervous! My surgeon said he was going to fix a hernia and remove my gallbladder during this surgery. I wonder if that will make my recovery a lot harder.

Right! Take my stomach out so I don’t have these hunger pains haha. I’m on the 26th so we can be surgery buddies!

Lucky! I’ll be on clear liquids plus protein shakes for four weeks post op! Sounds like you’re rocking it!

Got final approval and surgery scheduled!! Thursday 2/27!

Insurance required one more “weight monitoring” appointment, which I had today, so fingers crossed that I have my final consult next week and surgery 2/25!!

That’s my tentative date too! Should confirm by the end of the week
