  1. Hey guys.. so on feb 3rd I was sleeved and was given a total of 3 shots to prevent blood clots at the hospital, 1 in my arm and 2 in my thigh. Till this day I still have nasty bruises on my thigh because of the shot. I’m a little worried because of the bruising and I feel actual pain on my thigh where the shot was given. Today I had woken up out of my sleep because I was thirsty, and I moved my leg and my thigh was in soooo much pain, really bad cramping at the site. I’m not sure if it’s something I should bring up to the nurse or if it’s normal but I need to hear other people’s experience because mine isn’t the best. I don’t think it’s normal to get pains here and there, to the point where I can’t even move my leg. I wish I remembered the name of the shot that was given to me. I’ll have to find out.
  2. hi there! I got sleeved on Feb 3 and my first bowel movement was today, Feb 8... Other than keeping my water intake up, I added prune juice and prune baby food. I was desperate since the last time I pooped was right before my surgery. I’m not a fan of prunes so I had to dilute the juice a little. And I would take just small amounts of the baby food. hopefully this helps!
