  1. Hey Newbie I'm 9 weeks out from VSG. I eat about a 1/2 cup and usually feel full. Occasionally I may still feel hunger and will add a veggie to my protein. That usually does it for me. I tend to feel more satisfied if I eat chicken vs yogurt, cottage cheese or other soft foods. I think the heavy protein helps me. Always be sure to get your protein in and drink 64 oz. Your pouch actually can hold about 10 oz when fully healed, not that you need to fill it, but it can hold a bit more. Good luck!
