  1. It took me a week to start to feel hungry. Now I am trying to differentiate between head hunger and stomach hunger. Especially on days like today when my 5 little monkeys seem to forget that we have rules here!
  2. It's all the fluids they pumped into you. Keep drinking and it will go away fast! A week later and I don't look pregnant anymore. My friend who is 4 months pg and not showing was jealous!!:Banane37:
  3. Human is good!! Glad you are feeling better!
  4. Yep, it hurt! I was outpatient. Surgery at 7:30 home by 11:30. I used pain killers for 2 1/2 days. I'm glad I am done and didn't know how much it would hurt!:Banane37:
  5. I have the same thing. But I had a hiatal hernia fixed at the same time as my lapband. So that adds more to the diaphram as the hiatal hernia forms in the diaphram.....
  6. Did you have a hiatal hernia fixed? I did and can really tell when I breathe deeply. The hernia goes into your diaphram, that would explain breathing issues. I am sure you'll get some answers tomorrow.
  7. Definitely not enough water. Not enough calories either. If your body thinks it is starving, it will hold on to weight. I'd call your doc. and ask about it....
  8. My dr. says 4-6 weeks
  9. HI Lisa I was banded the 5th too. I am feeling the same way. So I eat a little and wait. If I am still hungry, I eat a little more. I have an appointment on Friday and hope to get some answers. I keep reminding myself, this time is about healing, not weight loss......
  10. I didn't have to stop my antidepressents (I take effexor) Just no meds that would thin blood.....hmmmmmm
  11. Hi Kerri! Welcome! My largest incision is sore, too. I was banded on Aug. 5.
  12. I had no pre-op testing. My BMI was just under 40 and my surgeon didn't require any for under 40. I also didn't need the heprin shot for clotting for the same reason.
  13. I was banded on the 5th. Feeling more energetic today than I have
  14. Tomato soup, my dr. also let me have creamed Soups. I have also had frozen yogurt, eaten slowly. Yogurt smoothies. I am 6 days post op
