  1. That's fantastic! May you continue to heal well and feel great!
  2. Hope you get to go home soon. That is amazing that you feel so normal!
  3. Ooh! I havent seen the cucumber. Must try
  4. Did they tell you the amount of your fill? I wonder if they are trying to be gradual about your restriction and that you just need more fill?
  5. So sorry to hear this. Hope all is well with your transfusion.
  6. I hope you get answers and assistance. I dont think it is fair to imply you are not invested bc you still plan to eat carbs. I havent had surgery yet but I do know plenty of banded, sleeved and bypassed folks who eat carbs in moderation.
  7. I'm so happy for you! Truly amazing to come off the meds so quickly and increase your mobility!
  8. Hope you are comfy in your bed at home soon with no more nausea!
  9. Morgan, 10 days! Well done. I cant imagine making it through that. Wishing you all the best.
  10. I'm feeling terrible for you guys. Is it typical to go that long without any "motion"?
  11. So hard to give up the seltzer. Yes I like the pineapple too
  12. Have you tried the flavored non carbonated water from hint? It's delicious and has no artificial or natural sweeteners. I'm addicted to seltzer water and am transitioning to non carbonated using hint. The watermelon is particularly refreshing.
  13. I so appreciate everything you guys are sharing! I'm so scared of the post op restriction and seeing you all push through is giving me hope that it is possible. ❤
  14. Oddly I'm super worried about this. I drink a ton a water and have dry mouth. I feel like I'll lose my mind!
  15. I'm so happy to hear you are feeling strong and pain-free!
  16. How are you doing today, Lisa?
  17. That's awesome! She really is a gem, not to mention one of the best minimally invasive surgeons anywhere! Thank you for your kind words. I'm kind of beating myself up over the decision to postpone but know I'm not "all in" yet. I started attending the weight loss center closer to home and so was not going to be at B & W. My surgeon here is going on maternity leave for 6 mos so I may end up back in Boston. I'm trying to stay flexible about how this all plays out!
  18. Thank you for checking in. It sounds like you are healing well but what an adjustment! I'm cheering for you and hoping tomorrow is easier ❤
  19. Good luck to everyone and healing wishes to those in recovery. I've postponed my surgery as I need to do more "head work." Lisa, did you have Ashley Vernon as your surgeon? I love her. She did my massive hernia repair in 2011.
  20. Wow! This is so informative. Thanks so much for this information @pollyesther
  21. I'm tuning in as this topic interests me. I am supposed to have the sleeve but am hung up on this issue. I wish they could only remove 50% the 75-80 seems so high.
