    EDG scheduled for1/15/2020 at the Bariatric Center of Kansas City. Then I will be scheduled for a date. Insurance has already approved me. I am worried about the Liquid diet. I don't like anything sweet and I see most of the protein drinks are fruit flavor..Icky

    They are letting you have the surgery knowing that you smoke? My doctor wont, My insurance wont cover any benefits either if you smoke.

    So I started this journey in August 2019. I just found out that my insurance has approved me. I still need to do the EGD an I am scheduled on the 15th of this month. I have one major concern and that is, I can not tolerate any type of pain medication on an empty stomach. I am worried about after that surgery. Any advice?
