Happy New Year Lady, just wanted to let you know that it will work out for you, I had medical conditions that okayed me for surgery, I am only 5'1 and my highest weight was 196 lbs. I had 3 procedures done on December 5th, so I am still recovering. I had the sleeve, gall bladder removed and the unexpected Hiatal Hernia. You might say the works! Everyone kept telling me that I did not need the surgery because I was not 100 plus over but I did it for health reasons. Losing my mom and brother to strokes and sleep apnea, The psychiatrist approved that I did not even have to take the 5 Binge eating classes. Never was a binge eater anyway, when I got nervous, I lost my appetite. You are taking the first step to a new beginning. I am already down to 172. Any type of Obesity is worth getting help for. Yeah, first couple of nights I could barely get out of the bed because of the incisions. Hopefully the pain that I feel crossing the top of my stomach is just gas. Will see my surgeon tomorrow. Good luck to you. Maybe after a couple of weeks, we will be on top of the world.

I knew that there was a possibility that I would have my gall bladder removed at the same time of my sleeve surgery but I got an unexpected curve ball. I also had a Hiatal Hernia that did not show up during my pre op testing. So I had three procedures done altogether. I am thankful though. Was in a lot of pain when I woke up but thank God for pain killers. I am home now and I have no more nausea like before my surgery. I am still having mild heartburn early in the morning time but I am guessing that is still gas from the surgery. Trying to walk as much as possible in circles to heal quicker and get rid of this gas buildup, The only pain I actually start having yesterday was pain generating across the top of my stomach. Called the nurse and she said it could be scar tissue from me trying to heal, don't really know. Only had to take my liquid Hydrocodone once today. Have already lost ten pounds. For some reason I got sort of depressed today, I do not know why, Is this normal?
