Yes I’ve been exercising since my second week I weigh myself once a week I just find it weird that I didn’t have a problem losing weight before surgery while working out and dieting but since surgery it’s been a bit difficult for me to lose weight I know this is a process and I have to trust it thank you so much for the advice.
  3. I'm drinking two protein shakes a day and I've been eating chicken and eggs mostly sometimes I’ll have tuna. I'm only allowed to have 2 ounces of protein at a time. And in between meals I’m supposed to have fruit and yogurt.

Hey I’m 5 1/2 weeks post-op My progress has been stalled I’m wondering if I’m getting enough calories in I’m only averaging about 400 to 600 a day how do I get more calories in because I’m sure this is the reason why I’m stalling so soon in my journey I’m so lost my bariatric team is pretty much nonexistent because of the COVID-19 stuff that’s going on.
  5. Hey everyone I finally had my surgery a few days ago on the 10th the incision pains have been horrible but other than that everything is going ok I’ve been able to get my liquids down just fine ?

I was scheduled for April 1st but last week I got a call from my bariatric Center telling me that they’ve moved my date to April 29th it’s pretty bad here in Louisiana so my date most likely will be changed again I’m praying for everyone let’s just keep each other uplifted as we all weather this storm together ?
  7. I’m so sorry to hear that Solo I’m expecting the same here our numbers keep climbing here in Louisiana I shaven’t gotten a cancellation call from a member of my bariatric team but a this point I’m just gonna assume that I won’t be getting surgery until all this is over

  9. I’m in Louisiana we got our first case yesterday and so far it’s only one person with it in the state as of right now

  16. I've learned so much today my dietitian gave me a menu of what I have to eat for each meal during my pre-op diet thankfully shakes are not on the menu until after surgery ?
  17. I’m counting also I’ve just completed my pre-op class today it’s all going so fast now ?

  19. Aww all three of us are having surgery on the same day !!! Jessica my birthday is March 24 lol I will be on my pre op diet on my birthday also thankful my doctor doesn’t have his patients do the liquid diet until after surgery (stats) HW 307 CW 396 5’6 I’m 34 yrs old

  23. So I called her back and left her a message she called back four days later with my surgery date!
  24. So I finally got my date I’m so nervous and excited at the same time is anyone else having surgery in April?
