I know that my port is not in the same place the Dr. put it. It may have flipped, I don't know. Every fill I have had has been under the florescope. I have lost 70 lbs and really don't have any problems. I was hoping to get it fixed when I have a tummy tuck. My insurance doesn't pay anything having to do with weight loss procedures. How much does it cost to have it put back in place? :help:

I saw Dr. Keith, who is in the same office as Dr. Nelson, and my first visit was $480.00. He did not do my surgery. I had to go to the hospital in OKC to get my fill and that was $300.00. I haven't needed another fill. I hope this info helps.

I have the band placed on 6-30-06 and have lost 60 lbs. It is a great tool. But you have to work with it not against it. TeresaL

I was banded June 30th. I feel my port everytime I bend over or sit in a certain way. I also feel it everytime I turn over in the bed. I thought I was the only one. Is this normal?

This is my first post on this or any other web site. I am almost 6 weeks post-op. I go tomorrow for my first fill. I weighted 240 lbs. the day I had my surgery. I lost 10 lbs. the first 2 weeks and then another 5 lbs. I seem to have stopped and it really is depressing to go through surgery (which I had to pay for) and the recovery and and I have only lost 15 lbs. I sure hope things go better after my fill tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions?
