  1. Got my insurance approval today. Surgery scheduled for December 9th.
  2. Congratulations on reaching your first goal Mikkey. I’m stuck in limbo awaiting approval from my insurance.
  3. Glad you’re home and recovering
  4. I was wondering the same thing. Mikkey I hope you’re recovering well.
  5. I’ve completed all of the prerequisites as well. Seems as if it has taken forever to get it all checked off (six month doctor supervised diet, cardiologist approval, pulmonologist approval, nephrologist approval, two appointments with nutritionist, 2 support group meetings, endoscopy). Needless to say the last 7 months has been a very busy. My surgeon submitted for approval of the surgery to the insurance last Friday (10/25/19). Hoping I get the approval and the surgery is scheduled for late this month or first part of December.
  6. Good luck. ?. I’ve been stalled for the last 2 weeks. It’s kind of discouraging but I just keep on going and trying for more loss. I still have 8 more pounds that my doc would like me to loose before my surgery. Guess I shouldn’t be worried about it though since I don’t have a date yet. Go for my last nutritionist appointment this week. Just waiting on insurance approval to get my date.
  7. Good job on the presurgery loss. I’ve been successful with mine as well. I’ve lost 53 pounds since I started my weight loss journey in May and people are asking if I need the surgery since I’m losing weight. I’ve struggled with my weight practically my whole life since my late teens. It always comes back. Even though this is the most weight I’ve ever lost. I have completed all of the required steps and just waiting for insurance approval. My doc is hoping to get me scheduled for November or December.
