hi judie, i to am new to all this, and am looking to have lapband surgery, i am looking outside of alaska to do this, my daughter lives in birmingham and she is looking at doc's for me, she also works at uab hospital, i will look into your dr. i fly down to birmingham every three months to see my daughter and son-in-law and grand-daughter so thought i could even get my fill's while i am down there, so something to think about for me, good luck with everything, lisa:biggrin:

hello all, i am new to all this lapband stuff, i have been doing research and am hoping to have this done, my question is has any one had it done in mexico by dr.joya, i am looking to have it done in mexico or in the lower 48 since i am up in alaska and things can be more expensive here, any advice or info would be of help, and incouragement, and if any one from alaska is out there please respond, thanks and have a great day lisa:wink_smile:
