Does BCBS of TX PPO (Blue Choice) Covers Lap-Band??? Anyone!! Please help :wink2:

I have a question does anyone know if BCBS of TX PPO (Blue Choice) covers the Lap-Band procedure?????

what if i don't have: Medical record documentation of active participation in a clinically-supervised, non-surgical program of weight reduction for at least 6 months, occurring within the twenty-four (24) months prior to the proposed surgery and preferably unaffiliated with the bariatric surgery program. did you have all the information required for the Lap-Band? My docotor told me that i was a good candidate for the surgery!! and that she's willing to do the letter. What did you provide to you insurance?

I have the BCBS of Taxes PPO (Blue Choice)...How can i find out if Lap-Band its covered? I called BCBS and they release any informaton until June 1st...

I have United Health Care for the mean time until May 31st and it covers for Lap-Band. But starting June 1st i have BCBS of TX. So Does BCBS of TX does Cover for Lap-Band Surgery?

Starting June 1st i am going to have BCBS of TX and i am wondering if Lap-Band is covered by the above insurance? i have United Health Care for the mean time and i know that UNC does cover the procedure. I have done some research to see if it covers., i have seen some comments that it does and it doesn't covers i am lost really need to find out. Please help :cursing:
