12 days post op (surgery 8/21) Question......I seem to be able to drink my water normally now, no concern of slow sips. Are others like that too? I’m still full liquids so most goes through fast, but I’ve not had any feeling of fullness or anything like that. im assuming maybe that starts when food is introduced???

Ditto!!! For some reason yesterday was a little mentally tough on me. Maybe Knowing I wouldn’t be having solid food for awhile LOL

I too have the hiatal hernia and my doctor said about an hour but possibly up to 2 hours in recovery. i start the preop Wednesday too.....
