I’m 2 weeks into the 3 week liquid stage and I’ve never been more excited to chew something! I’m googling food ideas and drooling over the pictures like they’re some kind of illicit porn.
What was your first chewable meal post-surgery? I’m fantasizing about a soft boiled egg and cottage cheese. I’m planning on setting out the good china and making a production of it. I guess that’s all part of the process; not just inhaling food but savoring it. I’m so excited!! 😃

Thanks all! Just bought a cookbook from amazon by Sarah Kent. I prefer the hard copy so I’ll be devouring that once it comes. Prior to this surgery I’d cram any food into my mouth regardless of whether I really liked it. I need to work on switching to high quality, nutritious food; quality over quantity. Very excited!
